Michael Barnea’s work lies
at the junction between the real and the abstract and his moods range from
the introvert to the expressionist extrovert. He paints while searching
for the substance and essence of the object peeling it’s details and leaving
it open to the eye’s interpretation. Colors evolve from colors, spontaneous
brush strokes and the feeling of “something is born” connect his work to
Creation in the wide sense.
