Born in 1936 in Leningrad. 
In 1956 started to study Art painting under the artist Ossip Sydlin. 
Was a participant of the non-conformist movement and took part in its exhibitions in Leningrad & Moscow. 
Emigrated to Israel in 1979. 
Since then has had exhibitions in galleries & museums in Israel, France, United States, Austria, Russia, Germany, Spain. 
Was awarded the Prize of Jerusalem Artists by the name of Sh.Ish-Shalom. 
Was awarded a studio at Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris & a studio in Jerusalem by The Israel Museum. 
Living & working in Jerusalem & S.Petersburg. 


 

In 1989 published a book “Gazanevschina” about non-conformist movement in Art in Leningrad of the post-stalinist era.
